WHO ARE THE DAINTY CREW?

Lady Zimma and Miss Mention are a dynamic female duo who carry out reviews and interviews up and down the country, which appear on the Internet and occasionally in other media. They also establish contacts and mediate within the UK and internationally.

They equally jointly own www.daintycrew.com and www.daintycrew.co.uk and these are used as a platform to showcase their work.

The Dainty Aim: To be successful promoters and be recognised in a positive light worldwide.

WHAT DO DAINTY PROMOTIONS DO?

They reflect their interest of black issues in the positive promotion of black music using the aid of computers and the Internet and they have approached UK and internationally based publications to feature their work and continue to do so. They currently carry out:

Reviews

Review various black entertainment/events, e.g. dances, stage shows, carnivals, exhibitions etc. and hope to expand into more black events for which they have received a very positive and constructive response.

Interviews

The Dainty Crew interview sound systems and artists. (Full reviews and interviews are available for reference in the Dainty Portfolio. Please contact Miss Mention or Lady Zimma for further details).

Mediate

They also act as mediators for people requiring information and/or connections in various areas of entertainment both nationally and internationally.

THE DAINTY CREW – THE FUTURE

The Dainty Crew hope to get more involved in PR helping to alleviate some of the responsibility and pressure in order to ensure the success of up and coming events worldwide. They would like to demonstrate this through:

Entertainment/Events

Working independently and/or in conjunction with other promoters presenting dances/stage shows, concerts etc.

Internet

The Dainty Crew reviews, interviews and up & coming events have appeared on numerous web sites including the number one Internet dancehall site, Dancehall Reggae Productions (www.dancehallreggae.com) and Black Hole (www.eyeofthehole.com) a web based urban music magazine for which Lady Zimma and Miss Mention are Associate Editors for the Dancehall/Reggae content of the site.

Publications

They have previously contributed to Mention Entertainment News; a Florida based monthly dancehall publication and Street Cred; a Birmingham, UK based quarterly music and entertainment magazine.

Interviewing

The Dainty Crew believe it would be a good idea to interview organisers prior to an event to enable maximum exposure for the function. The interview questions would include a background on the interviewee, line up of what will be taking place, venue, directions to the event, entry fee, ticket outlets, time, and restrictions (if any) etc.

Interviewing of performers/artists prior to an event is another effective way to attract people, with added emphasis on the interviewee to endorse the function.

Sponsorship

Contacting local, national and international businesses to sponsor/participate in the up and coming events.

Advertising

Advertising locally, nationally and internationally through the following mediums: newspapers, magazines, radio, TV, Internet etc.

Charities/ Organisations

Highlight worthy causes such as the Stephen Lawrence Trust, OSCAR, and Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust etc.

Reviews/Interviews

These would continue into the future.

WHAT DOES THE DAINTY CREW EXPECT?

The Dainty Crew aspires to gain a good reputation and receive financial payment or a percentage of the profits made from the event to reflect our efforts. The Dainty Crew logo should feature on organisers' flyers/advertising along with at least one of our contact numbers and email addresses. Due to our reliable, conscientious and creative resources, we would hope that our services would be recommended to other potential sources.
