October Sky's guitar sponsor Indie Guitars, whose endorsements include artists such as Myles Goodwin of April Wine, Shaun Verreault of Wide Mouth Mason and Alec Fraser of the Jeff Healey Band, are proud to present the cinematic rockers with two brand new guitar models and a bass for their upcoming show abroad. In addition to their London gig at The Scala to play the World Finals of the Global Battle of the Bands (GBOB) 2009, October Sky will be using them for production on their upcoming 2010 sophomore release, a follow up to their highly praised 2008 album "Hell Isn't My Home".

"Indie Guitars has been a strong supporter of October Sky since we released Hell Isn't My Home and to have them sponsor us with new guitars and a bass for our show in London, UK and to record our next album is a great honour." commented Karl Raymond vocalist and guitarist of October Sky. "The sound that they produce is impeccable to any other guitar I've used live and for recording."

The guitars and bass that were presented to October Sky by Indie Guitars are the following:

Karl Raymond (Vocals/ Guitar) - ISG-Extreme
Yanik Rouleau (Keyboard / Guitar)- Sun Extreme in Black
Andrew Walker (Bass) - Swamp-5
