The Trigger Creative Conference has confirmed its program, bringing together top global executives from the music and media industries. The event takes place in Borlänge, Sweden, on June 28-29 at the Quality Hotel Galaxen.
Digital and music industry icons including Seymour Stein and Richard Gottehrer join international pioneers from the vanguard of digital music, including Eric Sheinkop, Mandar Thakur, Atul Churamani, Alexander Shulgin, Taynah Reis, Darren Gallop, Eric De Fontenay, Hal Bringman, Robert Singerman, and Thomas Reemer, combining their knowledge and vast experience to help bring positive change to an industry in flux during a rapidly-evolving digital world.
The Trigger Creative Conference is a project of Boomtown, now in its fourth annual incarnation, and started as a platform for the music industry to discuss the future, network with colleagues from around the planet, and inspire innovation.
"Trigger '12 is going to be the biggest and best event we've produced to date," said Bart Omlo, co-organizer of the event. "We're excited to be fostering conversation to help forge constructive change in the music industry in the midst of 50,000 music enthusiasts celebrating the artists and music that make our conference, and our industry, possible. Bringing on NVPR to help the event reach the next level now and in the future helps connect the dots from the inception of the digital music revolution to its present ascent in the digital era."
The conference transpires in close cooperation with Peace & Love, the biggest music festival in Sweden where more than 50,000 attendees will revel in the music from budding indie bands to multi-platinum superstars including My Morning Jacket, Mac Miller, The Shins, Stephen Marley, Billy Idol, Skrillex, Roxette, Regina Spektor, Mumford + Sons and Rihanna, with many others.
The Trigger Conference aims to help ensure globally sustainable business models and unrivaled networking with international colleagues alike flourish, as the music industry continues to evolve from a product to a service-oriented industry.
The conference takes place on the festival area and the participants of Trigger get VIP access to the festival.
Over the two days, topics range from Global Branding and New Technology with experts from critical territories and emerging markets, including Brazil, Russia, India and China.
