One of the US's most influential death metal band, Cannibal Corpse, is scheduled to perform at Beijing's Yugong Yishan Livehouse on October 20th, courtesy of Painkiller Magazine. The band, known for its thrash metal sounds and apocalyptic lyrics, will put on a concert that cannot be missed.

Death metal bands from China and Singapore will also be joining Cannibal Corpse on stage. Singapore's veteran band Impiety, along with Chinese metal bands like Narakam and HyonBlud, are scheduled to make appearances. If you call yourself a metal fan, do not miss the hardest concert of 2012.

Formed in Buffalo, NY in 1988, Cannibal Corpse quickly gained recognition in the metal scene when it signed on to Metal Blade Records. Under the label, the band went on to released three albums that was met with immediate appraisal. With a substantial cult following, Cannibal Corpse continued to stay with its extreme sounds. With heavy influences from thrash metal bands, such as Kreator and Slayor, the band experimented with music that was unique even among contemporary metal bands. Their horror-influenced lyrics and stage presence drew fans and critiques alike In 1997, George Fisher took over as lead vocalist, and the band released the game-changing "Vile", which brought a death metal single to the Billboard 200s for the first time. Known for deep, gruesome growls and fast, complex beats, Cannibal Corpse continues to thrive in the metal scene.
