During the 2013 traditional Dragon Boat (Duanwu) festival, newly reborn record label DOT Records will invite the French Mixing artist Oxia (Infiné, Kompakt) for a China tour on June 9 in Beijing and June 10 in Shanghai.

With a debut on a local radio station, Oxia started mixing at 15 years old. His mixes were influenced by a large spectrum of music styles: electro-funk (Afrika Bambaata. etc.), italo-disco, new-wave (Depeche Mode, New Order. etc.) and the early Chicago and New-York house scene. As Oxia's sound evolved, it gave birth to a series of EP's & remixes on Goodlife as well as on labels such as Intec, Terminal M, finally releasing his debut solo album '24 HEURES' in 2004.

After an extended period of touring, Oxia returned with a strong series of releases & remixes in 2006. Now, almost eight years after the release of his debut album, this pioneer of the French electronic scene is back with a new LP 'Tides Of Mind' on the French label Infiné Music. For his new album, he decided to put aside the trendy electronic patterns and to move back to more classic but no less enjoyable house music. With that said, the album is not shy of a deep and melodic sound that ventures to the dancefloor with a stamp of the Oxia groove. 'Tides Of Mind' is the work of an artist who appears to enjoy a newfound sense of tranquility and is second to none in managing to convey it.

This Dragon Boat festival, bring 'Tides Of Mind' this dancefloor bomb as an oblation, joined by Shanghai-based and Beijing-based local djs, it will be a mind-blowing night!
