Orange Isle Music Festival 2013 Is Coming!
This year headliners are two legendary rock bands from Taiwan, WuBai & ChinaBlue and Dick and Cowboy
On September 7 and 8, Orange Isle Music Festival 2013 will definitely rock anyone who loves music.
Launched in 2009, the first festival featured indie musicians such as Lao Lang, Xie TianXiao, Wan Xiaoli. The following year, performances by major acts Wang Feng, Tang Dynasty and Fan Xiaoxuan & 100% brought a great energy of rock music into the festival. In 2012, urban daily newspaper Xiaoxiang Morning Herald came onboard as the exclusive festival organizer. That same year saw a dramatic jump in attendance from a few thousand in the first year to forty thousand fans delighted by Taiwan band Soda Green's unforgettable performance.
This year headliners are two legendary rock bands from Taiwan, WuBai & ChinaBlue and Dick and Cowboy. They will be joined by alternative Taiwanese singer-songwriter Zhang Xuan & Algae, known for her coffeehouse music and Hong Kong soul Mandopop star Khalil Fong at this year's Orange Isle Music Festival. Also featured in the lineup are popular mainland rock bands Omnipotent Youth Society and Second Hand Rose, several foreign bands such as GrooveCoverage (German), Hibria (Brazil) and Dynazty (Sweden), as well as younger local underground bands.
