MusicDish*China announced that it is a media sponsor of JZ Festival Shanghai, the biggest Jazz Festival in both China and Asia. MusicDish*China has a long history of sponsoring China's leading festivals, including Midi and more recently Zebra Music Festival in Shanghai, Chengdu and Shenzhen.

Held over a full month month from September 20th to October 19th, the festival is composed of four parts - Sennheiser Green Note, Jazz Around Town, Nong Qing Jing'an*BMW Master Hall and JZ Festival in Beijing. Artists including Robert Glasper, Yasiin Bey (Mos Def), John Scofield, Jack DeJohnette, The Brand New Heavies, Lisa Ono, and Yoga Lin - altogether more than 80 musicians and 200 bands - will present fabulous shows on the streets of Shanghai or in the parks, theatres and open areas of the city, covering both sides of the river.

China Daily recently featured MusicDish*China in an article on the state of rock music festivals in China (http://usa.chinadaily.com.cn/2013-07/30/content_16851538.htm). "Whereas radio was the big way for people to discover new music in the US in the old days, festivals in China are the big way to do it," MusicDish*China Founder Eric de Fontenay was quoted in the article.
