Musicians Institute Launches Partnership With Chinese Talent Competition YinYueTai
YinYueTai is selecting top contestants from its talent competition, YinYue Stage, for the opportunity to enroll at MI
Musicians Institute (MI), the College of Contemporary Music, has launched a partnership with YinYueTai, China's largest high-definition music video platform. Drawing from more than 50 million registered users with real-time access to music video data, YinYueTai is selecting top contestants from its talent competition, YinYue Stage, for the opportunity to enroll at MI and receive a world-class music education in the heart of Hollywood's music industry.
The first group of YinYue Stage artists is due to arrive on MI's campus later this year, when they'll enroll in MI courses including Harmony & Theory, Ear Training and various Live Performance Workshops, as well as classes for Reason and Logic recording software. Visiting Chinese students will also receive weekly private lessons on their chosen instrument, and will perform before a jury of guest music industry experts at the conclusion of their MI experience.
"Musicians Institute is thrilled to form this partnership with YinYue Stage," said Rachel Yoon, Ph.D., Dean of the School Performance Studies at Musicians Institute. "Our school has always welcomed a global community of musicians, and we look forward to helping foster the next generation of incredible Chinese talent."
