New Online Ticketing System In Hong Kong Offers Enhanced User Experience And Lower Promoter Fees
A Hong Kong music promoter has teamed up with a Canadian electronic ticketing provider to offer a new system

A leading local music promoter has teamed up with a Canadian electronic ticketing provider to offer a new system that fully integrates with social media and other websites, making buying tickets easier than ever.

The innovative new system from thepointofsale.hk vastly improves on other ticketing services by eliminating the traditional sales funnel - customers don't need to click through to any external links to purchase tickets. It's a seamless experience that's been welcomed by fans and promoters alike.

Chris B, director of The Underground HK, which has been running events in Hong Kong for over 10 years, decided to launch the Hong Kong franchise last year. "I wanted to be in control of selling tickets without the added administrative work this entailed. With thepointofsale.hk I can start selling tickets in five minutes as I access the backend myself, and it instantly goes live on both my website and my Facebook page. No one in Hong Kong offers this."

As well as a redirect-free ticketing widget that can be embedded on any website, the thepointofsale.hk offers a suite of easy to use event marketing and management tools. The service also provides powerful analytics and bilingual English-Chinese functionality.

Event organisers will also welcome the commercial terms offered by thepointofsale.hk, which are far more generous than those of other ticketing companies, including payment within seven days of an event taking place and a low transaction fee of just 3%.

Clients currently using thepointofsale.hk include Caffé HABITU, DJ Revolution and Orange Peel.

The Hong Kong venture is a franchise of Canadian mother company thepointofsale.com, which has been operating for more than seven years and is used by hundreds of promoters in Canada including the Quebec government. German and Japanese launches are also planned for this year.
