Finding online radio stations Going Gaga for music
Step 1: What is GoGaga.com? Gogaga.com is a web radio site with a number of stations broadcasting an eclectic mix of music. It is a station that could only exist online because the music is definitely not mainstream, but the extra information at the site makes this top choice for music.
Step 2: Go to the site and choose Go to www.gogaga.com and select a genre of music. I originally discovered this a year ago when it only had one station. Live DJs (definitely the exception in web only radio) add insight and avoid banter on the freeform channel (the original GoGaga station).
Step 3: Choose a stream Gogaga streams in all 3 of the major formats, Quicktime, Real, and Windows Media. Click on the one you want to begin listening to. It's great music that you will most likely not hear on the radio.
Step 4: Listen and get more info The stream will play, and while you listen, you can review the playlist, find out what is playing now, and even buy the CD. You can get all this info from the "playlist" button at the freeform site.
