Chris Standring is the founder and CEO of A&R Online (www.aandronline.com) (www.aandronline.com) - a showcase for top quality artists looking for music industry attention.
He is an author of several books, including "So You Think You Want A Record Deal" and "Street Team - A Killer Marketing Strategy For Indie Artists." International Music Publications (UK) published two books of classical

Collection." Hal Leonard published a book entitled "The Essential
Studio Guitarist," a popular book worldwide, now on the required reading list
at University of Southern California music department.
Chris is also a recognized recording artist in the contemporary/smooth jazz genre and has recorded for three record labels to date, his latest CD Groovalicious, appearing on the Mesa/Bluemoon record label. Two of his records, Velvet, released 1998, reached number 9 in the national US NAC radio charts. HipSway, released 2000, reached number 2 in the charts and opened up a busy touring schedule across the country. Chris is now successful in the UK (his homeland) and performs there in concert venues annually. His music appears on many compilation CDs, as well.
