Jiayuan Li is a recent graduate of music business entrepreneur program from Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. In her childhood years, Jiayuan played violin for five years and music remains to be a life long passion.
While studying music business, Jiayuan worked as a marketing intern for Duner, a Los Angeles based indie musician, handling his web presence and social marketing campaigns. Jiayuan also worked for LaFaMos, a music PR and branding company in Hollywood. Since her graduation, Jiayuan started working independently under the name Music Girl Media promoting American musicians to China.
Before her music endeavors, Jiayuan was a software engineer working for various industry clients on both coasts. Most recent projects include the music video site Vevo and Ripple 6, a startup developing niche social networking sites for media companies. Other clients she had worked with are marketing companies providing services to auto dealers, breweries, and commercial real estate companies.
Jiayuan holds a master degree in Information Resource Management and a bachelor degree in System Science and Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
Now Jiayuan started working as an intern for MusicDish*China where she continues to dedicate her effort to fulfill her career goals and to promote the work of an internationally respected company.
