ReverbNation And SESAC To Nurture Emerging Artists
Strategic relationship provides a path for ReverbNation artists to become part of the SESAC community
ReverbNation and performing rights organization SESAC announced a strategic relationship that provides a path for ReverbNation artists to become part of the SESAC community. SESAC will initially be included as part of the CONNECT program, an artist development incubator that will launch later this year. The program develops promising artists identified through Reverbnation's curation-at-scale capability.
"ReverbNation has built a very powerful curation capability which enables it to look across its millions of songwriters and identify exceptionally talented new creators that can benefit from membership in SESAC," said SESAC Chairman and CEO, John H. Josephson. "We are looking forward to working closely with these artists."
"The SESAC initiative has great potential and we look forward to sharing the news with the ReverbNation artist community," said Simon Perry, Chief Creative Officer and Head of A&R at ReverbNation. "Inclusion in SESAC will offer significant value to those selected to participate."
The first ReverbNation artists are expected to be invited to join SESAC in the spring.
