Universal Music Nashville Promotes Retta Harvey To Vice President Of Video Production
Universal Music Nashville, the country music division of Universal Music Group (UMG), the world's largest music company, has promoted Retta Harvey to vice president of video production for its Lost Highway, Mercury, MCA Nashville and DreamWorks Nashville labels. The announcement was made by Luke Lewis and James Stroud, co-chairmen of Universal Music Nashville.
In her new role, Harvey will continue to commission videos for the division's labels. She will solicit video concepts, approve budgets, supervise video production and oversee the editing process. Additionally, she will be responsible for promoting the finished product to major networks. During her career, she has worked with such award-winning artists as Shania Twain, Toby Keith, Terri Clark and Willie Nelson, among many others.
"Retta's extensive knowledge and experience has been instrumental in the success of our video department," stated Lewis. "We are very pleased to acknowledge her dedication and hard work with this well-deserved promotion."
