Lori Genes Joins The RCA Label Group As Director, Media
Allen Brown, vice president, Media, for the RCA Label Group-Nashville announced that Lori Genes has joined the staff as director, Media. Based in Nashville, she reports directly to Brown. In her new role, Genes will assume responsibility as key publicist for selected RLG artists, including Sara Evans, Brooks & Dunn, Phil Vassar, Diamond Rio, Jeff Bates, Bobby Pinson and Andy Griggs, among others.
On the addition, Brown remarked, "Lori brings to this position great media relationships and artist career-building experiences. This, along with her enthusiastic and creative approach to publicity, make for a wonderful addition to our RLG media team."
A communications and music graduate of Denison University in Ohio, Genes was a senior account executive with Paul Freundlich & Associates (PFA) in New York for the past two years, working with artists such as Lonestar, Keith Urban, SHeDAISY, James Taylor, Trick Pony, the American Red Cross and others. Prior to joining PFA, the Pittsburgh native was an account executive at Goodman Media International working with agency clients Court TV, Oxygen Network, several Emmy telecasts, including Daytime, Sports and News, and launching the Emmy's Student Award of Excellence educational initiative. She was also an associate account executive with Rogers & Cowan in New York City, working with clients such as Microsoft Digital Media Division, Music Choice, MusicVision and TVT Records.
