SpinART Records Taps Talent Clearing House For Royalty Administration
SpinART Records, home to acts such as Clem Snide, Frank Black and the Catholics, Apollo Sunshine, and many others, is the most recent label to utilize Talent Clearing House (TCH) to administer its royalty contracts. With both artist and mechanical royalties to be calculated, reported and paid, the use of TCH will benefit their operation by relieving an administrative burden.
Paul Barretta, president of Talent Clearing House, stated, "Whether artists are paid based on traditional royalty structure or one tied to profitability of releases, administration can pose quite a burden. Our systems streamline and automate these processes. I'm happy to be working with Jeff and the entire spinART staff to bring these benefits to such a great label."
Jeff Price, president of spinART added, "We are really pleased to begin a relationship with Talent Clearing House. Music royalty accounting is a nuanced specialty that Paul Barretta has an incredible grasp of. His expertise and reasonable pricing have allowed us to outsource a very complex, important and time consuming aspect of our business, freeing us to accomplish other equally important objectives (like selling more music!). The interface with Talent Clearing House has been seamless and painless. I am really pleased with the results."
