Tice Merriweather Promoted To Senior Director Of Publicity For The Zomba Label Group
Sonia Muckle, senior vice president of Publicity for the Zomba Label Group, has appointed Tice Merriweather as senior director of Publicity for the Zomba Label Group. In this role, Tice will oversee the publicity campaigns for the labels urban artists, which include Ciara, Youngbloodz, and Chris Brown.
Tice's experience in publicity is vast and is reflected in his tenure at Arista Records. His positions at Arista ranged from assistant to the vice president of publicity, manager of publicity and associate director of publicity, where he coordinated national press initiatives for Donell Jones, J-Kwon, Bone Crusher and the Clipse.
In 2004, Tice brought his expertise to ZLG as associate director of publicity where he continued his work with previous Arista artists, with the addition of Zomba's urban roster.
Sonia Muckle states, "Tice brings to the ZLG press team "energy and enthusiasm" which is both exciting and refreshing. I look forward to working with Tice and seeing him grow with ZLG."
