Burnley Joins Faculty At M. Gray Music Academy
Roger Burnley, renowned Hollywood vocal coach, has just joined the faculty here at the new M.Gray Music Academy, founded by Grammy Award winner Macy Gray. Burnley will be teaching vocals to students in the 6-18 age group, offering group and private lessons, as well as private lessons to adults.
"I had been looking for an opportunity to work with children and young adults because I felt that in helping to guide our youth, I could make a positive difference in bettering our Society as a whole," Roger explains. "It also allows me to share my talents with students who would otherwise be unable to afford my private training. With all the monies being withdrawn from the Arts programs in this Country, this type of School couldn’t have surfaced at a better time."
The curriculum of the School includes beginner, intermediate and advanced levels of study for musical instruments, vocal instruction, conducting, recording, song composition and music theory. Classes are kept small to allow personal attention by the teachers so that every student can develop at his or her own pace.
