Doc Hollywood's Artist International announced the addition of talent manager Rob Webb to the Artist International management team. Webb will serve as the vice president of business development for Artist International and will spearhead the task of building the company's activity in New York. Webb will also assist in the development of Broadway and Off-Broadway plays, as well as managing emerging writers and talent. "So many of our clients are bi-coastal. The addition of Webb to the New York office is a necessary step for us to grow our talent and literary divisions," notes Artist International Managing Director Joel Newton.
"Continuing with the company's focus to expand the Artist International team and client roster in New York, the addition of Rob Webb will help to increase our presence in the Big Apple. Rob has the perfect combination of artistic sensibility and business sense to excel in this environment," notes Doc Hollywood/Artist International CEO Steven Saxton.
Webb's background spans from acting to writing to producing, having years of experience in the entertainment industry, following the company's philosophy of "artists managing artists." He has worked with such industry legends as John Woo, Sidney Lumet, and Gary Marshall.
