Peter Brodsky Named Senior Vice President, Legal & Business Affairs, BMG Music Publishing
Peter Brodsky has been promoted to senior vice president, legal & business affairs, BMG Music Publishing Worldwide, it was announced today by the company's Chairman and CEO Nicholas Firth.
As senior vice president, Brodsky will continue to oversee all legal and business issues associated with BMG Music Publishing Worldwide and its U.S. companies, BMG Songs and Zomba Music Publishing. He continues to be based in New York and report directly to Firth.
Brodsky joined BMG in 1997 as associate director, legal and business affairs. He was most recently vice president of the department. Prior to joining BMG, Brodsky was an associate at the law firm of White & Case in New York. Brodsky received his law degree from Brooklyn Law School.
"Peter has been instrumental in completing major deals for the company, including the development of groundbreaking new digital and mobile licensing agreements," said Firth. "He has also played a key role in industry negotiations. I congratulate him on his well-deserved promotion."
