Rust Records Announces Appointment Of Two New Promotion Executives
Ken Cooper, president of Rust Records, has announced the appointment of Tony Michaels as director of promotions midwest and Deej Delorenzo as director of promotions west coast and Sr. VP of Triple A & A/C Promotions.
Twenty-four year music veteran Tony Michaels has gained experience through his work at KTTS Radio in Springfield, MO, (1982-1993) and most recently at Capitol Records Nashville (1993-2006). Through his work at Capitol Records, he helped to develop the careers of artists including Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley, and Trace Adkins.
Deej Delorenzo began her music industry career in the early 1990s at Chameleon/Elektra Records in New York, NY and Hollywood, CA where she rose to the position of national vice president of promotion, where she was responsible for promoting artists signed to the label, management of the national radio promotion staff, promotion budgets, tour budgets, artist and media relations. Later, she went on to be the executive vice president and general manager of Rolling Thunder Ltd. in San Diego, CA.
