Musicbrigade Make Three Key Appointments
Swedish on-line music specialist Musicbrigade, which was founded by Scandinavian music industry veterans in Stockholm in 1999 and which launched a London office this month, has announced three key new appointments across its European operations.
Carl Lachmann has been appointed senior vice president, marketing and sales. Based in the company's Stockholm office, Mr Lachmann will be responsible for further developing and implementing the company's pan-European marketing initiatives, consolidating the company's sales base and developing new business strategy.
Mr. Lachmann was previously the founder and CEO of online travel agency Jetweb, which was acquired by MZ Travel in 2001, and has extensive experience of high level marketing and sales implementation.
Mr Lachmann will report directly to Musicbrigade CEO Johan Englund and will oversee Musicbrigade's 10-strong team of senior sales, marketing and editorial personnel throughout Europe.
Fredrik Soderstrom has been appointed European sales director. Based in the company's Stockholm offices, Mr Soderstrom joins Musicbrigade from Swedish-based media group MTG, where he was responsible for commercial radio advertising sales. He has previous experience working in a production capacity in the advertising industry.
Mr Soderstrom will be responsible for rolling out the company's online advertising strategy and all event related sales and marketing activities. He will report directly to Carl Lachmann.
Mabel Mangnus has been appointed regional manager, Benelux. Based in Amsterdam, Ms. Mangnus will be responsible for developing and marketing the Musicbrigade offering in the The Netherlands and Belgium and for building partnerships and strategic relationships with local content suppliers and brands.
Ms. Mangnus has extensive experience of working within the marketing and new media sectors having previously held positions at Du Pont De Nemours, Phillips Eindhoven, Chello and UPC Media. Ms. Mangnus will also report to Carl Lachmann.
