"StarCity has a very professional yet warm atmosphere," states Rizvi. "When I first stepped into the facility, I was breathless. The studio is fantastic; everything from the equipment to the staff defines quality. I really enjoy the projects and artists that I am able to work with. It's great to be a part of the StarCity team."
"Zak is a natural and is extremely passionate about music," comments Glixman. "He is the perfect fit with the StarCity staff and philosophy, and his diverse knowledge of engineering and music is impressive. We're excited to have him on board as chief engineer and we know he will be an important part of StarCity's future."
"Working here is a wonderful experience that allows me the chance to fully express myself," continues Rizvi. "I am excited to be able to contribute to the creative juices that flow in and out of this studio."
Rizvi began his career in the music industry at just nine years old when he picked up his first guitar. He eventually would go on to master the bass, keyboards, and drums. He started recording his own work, uncovering a talent for engineering, which other musicians soon recognized. Realizing he needed to hone his abilities, Rizvi opened The Den, a studio in Whippany, New Jersey, where he was owner and chief engineer for twenty years. His final project at The Den was on Heernt's Locked in a Basement CD, which was mastered at StarCity and released worldwide. Rizvi currently plays in the progressive rock band 4Front.
