US Music Corporation Names Larry English President Of Newly Created Consumer Division
US Music Corporation, a fully integrated musical instrument company, announced the promotion of Larry English to president of the new US Music Corp. Consumer Division. Mr. English has been with US Music Corp. for over 10 years, previously serving as executive vice president of business development and marketing. As president, Mr. English will spearhead US Music Corp. efforts to deliver quality musical instruments and accessories to a broad consumer market.
"Larry is an energetic, hands-on executive with a solid history of implementing innovative ideas," said Rudy Schlacher, CEO of US Music Corp. "The Consumer Division was created to utilize Larry's expertise, allowing us to give an expanding consumer market better access to our quality brands."
"I believe that music is an important part of life and am pleased to give customers across the globe access to quality musical instruments and recording accessories," said Larry English. "US Music Corp. has been an innovator of musical instruments and accessories for over 100 years. As president of the Consumer Division, my efforts will focus on continuing our legacy by expanding to consumer markets worldwide."
In his tenure with US Music Corp., Mr. English managed guitar production, artist relations, marketing and eventually moved into business development. Mr. English successfully assisted US Music Corp. in developing a strong presence in the US, Canadian and international markets and was instrumental in creating and elevating US Music Corp. consumer brands including Vinci Band and Orchestral, Lyon, Little Lyon and SoundTech. Prior to joining US Music Corp, Mr. English served as executive vice president of Gibson Guitars.
