Lita Ford Shares Her Holidays With MusicDish
Lita Ford Shares Holiday Plans, Special Holiday Memories And their New Years Resolutions
Once again the holiday season is upon us. I took some time out to catch up with Lita Ford to see what the artists are up to for the holidays, if they had any special holiday memories to share and what their New Years Resolutions for 2010 are. Lita and her family spent the year touring in support of Wicked Wonderland, her first album in 15 years...
[CB]: Hi Lita. So what are your Christmas/holiday and New Year's Eve plans?
[Lita]: December 17th we're traveling to Phoenix to be a part of Alice Cooper's Christmas Pudding. It's a charity Alice has had for years and to be a part of this is truly an honor and a great way to start off this year's holiday.
We've traveled the world this year so we're going to just have a quiet family Christmas in the Caribbean. We'll watch the kids open way too many presents, eat way too much food, and just be together.
New Year's Eve we'll probably lay low too - actually we live on a deserted island so we don't have much of a choice! This is perfect for us because our job requires us to travel the planet so when we're not working, home is sacred and family time is precious.
[CB]: What is your favorite Christmas or New Year's Eve memory?
[Lita]: Every year we have together as a family is better than the last. We're very thankful for each other and the holidays are a good excuse to really think about how lucky we are.
[CB]: And what are your New Year's resolutions for 2010?
[Lita]: We don't make any. If you have to make 'em - you're gonna break 'em! Merry Christmas!
