Lisa Coppola Shares Her Holidays With MusicDish
Lisa Coppola Shares Holiday Plans, Special Holiday Memories And their New Years Resolutions
Once again the holiday season is upon us. I took some time out to catch up with Lisa Coppola, currently performing with Queens of Heart Band, to see what the artists are up to for the holidays, if they had any special holiday memories to share and what their New Years Resolutions for 2010 are. Queens of Heart put on a reproduction of both the early years of 1970's Heart classics as well as the glory days of the 1980's when Heart exploded on the charts with hit after hit.
[CB]: Hi Lisa. Good to catch up with you. So any special holidays plans this year?
[Lisa]: My holiday plans this year will be to spend it with my big Italian family in North Jersey. It is always fun to reconnect with everyone. We mean to get together with each other through the course of the year, but like everyone today, we are so busy we are sometimes are unable to do that. We are Catholic, so we celebrate Christmas and the celebration is centered around our love for food, food and more food.
[CB]: Do you have any special Christmas memories that you'd like to share?
[Lisa]: My fondest Christmas memory is shopping with my Mother in New York City on Christmas Eve Day. I lost my Mom in 1987 and I miss her very much. She was a procrastinator like me and we would go in and shop in the Times Square area which would always be empty (believe it or not) on that day.
[CB]: Do you have any special New Year's resolutions for 2010?
[Lisa]: Yes, My New Year's Resolutions for this year are:
1. To spend more time with friends and family. I tend to be a workaholic and I am going to re-center.
2. To finally get back in the gym!!! (Doesn't everybody say that?) J
3. To stop being five minutes late for everything. I wonder why I have all the clocks in my house and car set to try and prevent this phenomenon, but yet I still have trouble!
[CB]: Sounds good. Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year!
[Lisa]: Thanks Cindy.
