Lee Greenwood Shares His Holidays With MusicDish
Lee Greenwood Shares Holiday Plans, Special Holiday Memories And their New Years Resolutions
Once again the holiday season is upon us. I took some time out to catch up with Lee Greenwood to see what the artists are up to for the holidays, if they had any special holiday memories to share and what their New Years Resolutions for 2010 are. Here's what I found out...
[CB]: Hi Lee. Do you have any special plans for Christmas this year?
[Lee]: Christmas will be at home this year with the family. My bride Kim & I have put up our tree early so we can feel the spirit of the season longer than just a few weeks. We always gather a few singers together & go caroling on Christmas Eve. We usually visit the police station & fire house & deliver some Christmas cookies & eggnog to them, so those who have to work on that blessed night wont feel ignored or forgotten.
[CB]: That sounds like a terrific idea for the holidays. Do you have any favorite holiday memories?
[Lee]: My favorite Christmas memory will always be our first kiss. It will be twenty years ago this year, that Kim & I shared that wonderful moment in Scotland while on a USO tour. It was December 26th. Kim was Miss Tennessee at the time & the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. She is still a knockout. I'll make sure I catch her under the mistletoe this year to relive that moment.
[CB]: Too funny. Do you have any special New Years resolutions for 2010?
[Lee]: My resolution for the New Year will simply be to spend more quality time with my wife Kim & our sons Dalton & Parker. While in pursuit of career goals & personal achievements, we more often than not, put our families second. Responsibilities & obligations are important, but not more important than my family.
[CB]: Thanks Lee. Wishing you and your family a happy and healthy holiday season!
[Lee]: Thanks Cindy.
