Sweet Apple Signs To Tee Pee Records
Sweet Apple, featuring members of Dinosaur Jr., Cobra Verde and Witch, has signed to NYC's Tee Pee Records. The indie-rock supergroup will release its debut album "Love and Desperation" on March 30, 2010.
Their 12-song disc "Love and Desperation" casts a wide net, reflecting the disparate sounds of all their bands: catchy power-pop, crushing rock and wounded ballads. Recorded in Cleveland and Massachusetts, "Love and Desperation" was mixed by John Agnello (Dinosaur Jr., Sonic Youth and The Hold Steady) and Don Depew (Cobra Verde, Guided by Voices).
Sweet Apple is currently working on a video for the opening track, "Do You Remember," a driving, rock anthem. The band plans to tour and perform at South by Southwest.
Scarlett O'Hara Sign To Rise Records
Rise Records is proud to announce the signing of Scarlett O'Hara. Don't let their name fool you, there's not even a shred of southern charm or grace to be found with this metalcore outfit. Driven to stake a claim for themselves coupled with an overwhelming amount of momentum, Scarlett O'Hara are standing by to deliver one of 2010's most awaited albums.
