What a quirky mix of bands Hong Kong's The Underground has brought together for it's first Saturday in March. If you thought 'underground' music in Hong Kong was all screamo, this show will open your eyes (and your ears!!). From wedding bands to acoustic mayhem to high energy rock. Something for everyone!

"I think it's definitely our quirkiest show for awhile," noted The Underground coordinator Chris B., who happens to also be China's National Director for the Global Battle of the Bands.

Bands:
The Corners (indie rock, crackle, pop)
Of Moths & Stars (acoustic mayhem)
The McCadden Place Collective ( funk soul acid groove jazz party specialists)
Logo (trippy indie)
F.B.I. (high energy rock)

Underground 95
Saturday 6 March 2010
The Melting Pot,
1-5 Elgin St (by 65 Hollywood Rd.,) Soho
Central, Hong Kong.
HK$100 (includes one Asahi beer)
Enquiries: (852) 9486 4648

The Underground was created in April 2004 as a result of the dearth of live music venues in Hong Kong, and to provide a showcase for the unsigned talent in Hong Kong to strut their original music. Whether you’re funky, punky, jazzy, heavy or downright ugly, apply to play or watch the bands at The Underground…the most groovy club in Hong Kong!
