Korg Unveils MP-10 Pro Professional Media Player
All-in-one MIDI instrument and dual-song player for the mobile entertainer
Korg has introduced the MP-10 Pro Professional Media Player the perfect musical companion for mobile entertainers, solo keyboardists, singers and amateur musicians. This revolutionary, all-in-one product brings together a reliable and comfortable performance interface with total control over the most essential forms of media required by the modern performer.
As a media player, the MP-10 Pro features two independent media song players; each is able to play both MP3 and MIDI files* directly from the massive 120 GB internal hard drive. The motorized 60 mm crossfader allows creative DJ-style mixing. Songs can be saved into multiple playlists, and the database can be sorted using any criteria. Playlists can be easily imported, or even created on the fly.The Browser gives an immediate view of everything available in the selected genre. Using the Find function, the MP-10 Pro will carefully search the entire database for the users favorite song. Once found, the song can be immediately sent to either of the two players.
Korg Adds Handheld MR-2 To DSD Recorder Lineup
New recorder features X-Y stereo microphone capsule and SD/HDSD card storage
Korg has added a new handheld recorder to its MR Series of DSD digital recorders the MR-2 High Resolution Mobile Recorder. With many new and requested features, the MR-2 is a true workhorse.
As with all of Korgs MR recorders, the MR-2 records in the ultra-high fidelity DSD format, using a 2.8 MHz sampling rate, which captures every sonic detail while preserving the ambience of the original recording location. Using the included AudioGate software, this original datastream recording can be re-purposed into nearly any audio format with minimal fidelity loss. For job-specific recording, the MR-2 can also record in any of the popular multi-bit formats, from MP2 and MP3 up to 24-bit/192 kHz.
Korg Debuts Micrometro As Part Of Expansive Tuner/Metronome Family
Korg has added the Micrometro to its expansive tuner and metronome lineup. Designed for personal use, the Micrometro features clip-on styling, an LCD window and an unobtrusive design.
The clip-on Micrometro is the ultimate go-anywhere metronome, allowing users to improve their timing skills every time they play or practice. Using 39 traditional pendulum settings, the tempo can be set from 40-208 beats per minute (BPM). Seven time signatures are provided, as well as duplet, triplet and quadruplet patterns. The volume can be set to loud or soft, or muted entirely, using only the flashing LED as a visual tempo indicator. The Micrometro is available in Red or Blue.
Korg Monotron Palm-Sized Analog Power
New battery-powered synth features Korgs coveted MS-10 and MS-20 analog filters
Korg offers every musician the ability to enjoy analog synthesis with the all-new monotron Analogue Ribbon Synthesizer. Powered by two AAA alkaline batteries, the compact monotron can be held in one hand. Although small enough to be easily carried, the monotron is packed with Korgs legendary analog technology to generate thick and powerful sounds, plus a true analog filter with audio input.
The unique ribbon controller keyboard borrows from the enjoyment of performing with Korgs popular KAOSS products. Simple finger motions can produce expressive effects such as vibrato and glide. When used in a band, the monotron can harmonize with another instrument or take center stage for a monotron solo.
Korg Debuts microSTATION
Mini-key synth/sequencer is big on features
Korg once again re-defines the creative songwriting process with its new microSTATION. At a size and price usually reserved for performance synthesizers, the microSTATION also includes the additional benefits of a quick and intuitive onboard sequencer. Compact and portable, the microSTATION features Korgs 61-key Natural Touch mini keyboard, numerous effects, dual arpeggiators and 16 tracks of MIDI recording power to transform musical ideas into polished productions.
The microSTATION is an ideal first keyboard, plus a welcome addition to any studio or keyboard rig. To benefit novice sequencer users, new features such as easily accessible Loop Recording and Visual Grid Sequencing have been added to jump-start any type of music production.

Now revitalized with up-to-the-minute patterns and massive SD data storage, these versatile music makers are now better than ever. Introducing the tube-driven ELECTRIBE-MX SD (EMX-1 SD) and ELECTRIBE-SX SD (ESX-1 SD).
As more and more musicians adopted the Electribes as part of their audio arsenal, Korg teamed up with cutting-edge creative artists from around the world to deliver fresh beats, patterns and even Electribe SX (ESX-1) samples.
