堕天乐队-认真的摇滚精神

第一次听到堕天乐队的音乐是在豆瓣上,他们极具爆发力的声音,革命性的旋律,嘶吼的唱腔,都坚定的传递出他们的音乐信念与执著精神。有着认真探索音乐的态度,堕天乐队将他们最真实的一面展示在我们面前。

堕天乐队的名字带有明显的宗教色彩,并且传递出革命、颠覆和叛逆的信息,是怎样的经历和灵感促使你们选择了这样一个名字?

摇滚乐是不断创新的音乐,而在创新的过程总是有很多意想不到的问题。这就需要具备很强的毅力去面对和坚持。堕天这个词在不同的文化和宗教中都有不同的故事和结果,背后总是体现了一份无畏和执着。我们把这种精神作为乐队的核心,所以取了堕天这个队名。希望可以用认真的态度和声音,去让更多的人去留意在中国认真对待音乐的人。

自2006年成立到现在,你们在很多地方进行现场表演,并作为嘉宾乐队参加世界巡演,这些音乐历程为你们的创作增添了哪些新的灵感?

音乐是需要交流的,和世界一线的乐队交流给了我们很大的感触。目前来华的乐队越来越多,风格也越来越丰富。不同的文化所产生的音乐有着自己的独道特色,同时也可以在不同的风格中找到共鸣。所以我们想要做更加丰富的音乐。让更多的人可以去了解来自中国的声音。

2008年鼓手张哲出任ISTANBUL镲形象代言,这是否意味着你们在坚持原创Hardcore摇滚乐队的同时,也在慢慢增添一些商业化的元素?你们如何看待乐队商业化的现象?

原创和商业不冲突,虽然有很多乐队再添加商业元素之后,作品的质量也有所摆动,但也有很多优秀乐队同时创作出了传世的作品和创下了白金销量。所以乐队本身的态度和方向最重要。张哲担任形象代言,是对他个人努力的肯定。我们作为朋友和队友很为他高兴。

在乐队成立初期,你们遇到过哪些困难?是否有人建议你们转变hardcore摇滚的风格,增添更多的流行元素,以获得更多的听众?

成员问题,这个是初期的主要问题。寻找一个合适的成员需要很长的时间。可以说,直到1年前我们才完善了我们的各个位置。从乐手到调音师。现在我们的阵容很稳定。

我们和一些公司接触过,他们中也有人说过希望我们改变风格的问题。但是乐队的成员更想坚持自己的风格。如果让我们改变自己的风格,我们情愿解散去别的行业发展。

我们发现在堕天乐队的豆瓣小组和豆瓣小站里,有很多歌迷发帖留言支持你们,堕天乐队的歌迷们都是什么样的人?他们的支持和鼓励是如何帮助你们继续发展你们的音乐的?

我们一般都把这些歌迷称之为朋友。因为他们中很多人也都是乐手。

他们都很单纯,很直接。也都很执着。总是给我们力量。比如说这次在香港的演出,很多广州很深圳的朋友顶着台风来看我们的演出。到现场后,几乎所有的人都湿透了。但是主办方的器材被雨水淋到,演出被迫中止。他们依然在台下冒雨等候了差不多1个小时。直到舞台被拆掉后,才离开。这样的事情给了我们很大的鼓励,更加要做出优秀的音乐。

在这个网络交流十分盛行时代,因特网对于你们的乐队发展有什么促进影响么?它为你们带了哪些新机遇?

在早期myspace.com,lastfm和facebook对我们的帮助很大。可以和其他地方的乐队交流很多。

现在国内的豆瓣对于乐队在本土的发展提供了很多机会。比如外地的演出和音乐节邀请,包括这次的采访都是来源于豆瓣。

现在中国的音乐节有很多,草莓音乐节、迷笛音乐节、热波音乐节等,他们为中国的独立音乐发展提供了哪些支持?你认为这会不会为中国的独立乐队带来更多的商业化机会,而使他们放弃了原有的音乐风格?

音乐节对独立音乐的帮助很大,对乐队来说,一场音乐节的演出可以等于一场小的巡演。因为在几天之内,可以把自己的音乐展示给来自全国,或者更多地方的朋友。这样高效率的推广和曝光,是以前所没有过的。所以音乐节的出现,为独立音乐开拓了一个新的舞台,而且是个很重要的舞台。

商业化机会一定是有的。但是风格的改变能否扩大市场,是每个乐队自己需要去考虑的问题。
