Veteran music producer Sylvia Massy (also known as Sylvia Shivy) has filed a lawsuit against A Raven's Sorrow LLC, led by Jeff Glazier. It is a cross-complaint for damages and breach of contract occurring during a recording session in November 2010 at RadioStar Studios in Weed, California.

"I have worked with some challenging individuals but Glazier's bizarre behavior became a concern for us immediately. He trashed the studio's apartment, pounded his fists on the studio's valuable musical instruments and slashed and stabbed a pizza box with a knife in front of the studio's other clients, throwing pizza against the walls. He was frightening!" said Massy.

Earlier in Boston he had been kicked off the Berklee School Of Music's campus because of his bizarre behavior and disturbing promotional material. "I don't understand why Jeff is acting this way, except that his scary outbursts and this lawsuit may be designed as publicity stunts to promote his weak music project."

Massy cites Glazier's lack of studio experience (this was the first time Glazier had ever worked in a professional recording studio) as the main reason behind Glazier's lawsuit for fraud and breach of contract against Massy and RadioStar, to which Massy has filed this cross-complaint. "He doesn't understand the process", says Massy. "He was frustrated at his own limited musical abilities, and is unfortunately taking it out on his producer. I give personal time to all artists I work with to help them achieve their vision, including working one-on-one with singers to get their best performance. Had Jeff worked through his vocal insecurities, we would have made an excellent album, but Jeff quit the recording sessions only days before the recordings were completed, thus causing the studio a huge loss financially."

Sylvia Massy is an established music producer and audio engineer who has worked with over 300 artists in her 30+ years of recording experience. She is best known for her work with famous musicians including Tool, Johnny Cash, Prince, Sublime, System Of A Down and Tom Petty. Her work with legendary country artists Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash won the Grammy for the Best Country Album of 1996. She is also a well-known writer, a local Reverend in Siskiyou County and often speaks at music conferences and schools in the USA and internationally.

RadioStar Studios has operated successfully in the historic Weed Palace Theater in Weed, California for the past 10 years, hosting hundreds of satisfied musicians from around the world. As a testament to the studio's popularity, near 200 of the studio's musical friends and clients volunteered their time for no pay to perform at the 4&20 Blackbird Music Festival on July 30th to fundraise for improvements to the city's downtown. 2500 people attended. "With the help of our friends we raised enough funds to purchase a street clock for the town of Weed", says Massy. "It was a great event, and we served Blackbird Pie for anyone who needed to eat a little crow".
