林俊杰被新加坡任命为知识产权大使

在世界知识产权日上，林俊杰被任命为新加坡的知识产权大使。他对音乐界重要的贡献和他对原创音乐坚持不懈的支持使他获得了这一殊荣。林俊杰不仅创作了绝大多数他自己的作品，更是帮助其他歌星写歌。在他出道的这些年中，林俊杰的特殊才艺让他获得了诸多大奖，如2007年世界音乐大奖的“最佳男艺人”和2011新加坡金曲奖的“最佳本地作曲奖”。

On World IP Day, JJ Lin Jun Jie was conferred the title of Singapore's IP Ambassador. JJ was chosen as the IP Ambassador because of his invaluable contribution to the local and regional music industry and his strong support for original works. Not only has JJ composed the melodies for most his songs, he has also written many hit songs for various stars. Over the years, JJ's music talent has been recognised through various accolades including "Best Male Artist" at the World Music Awards 2007 and "Best Melody Composition" at the Singapore Hit Awards 2011.

Mr JJ Lin Jun Jie said, "IP is of vital importance to a singer-songwriter's music career and livelihood. Every original song written is valuable IP created. When you support original works, you inspire artistes like myself to continue to produce good music. I am proud to be appointed as Singapore's IP Ambassador because I firmly believe in the importance of IP. By championing this meaningful cause, I hope to motivate all Singaporeans to respect IP and support originality."

Mr Tan Yih San, Chief Executive of IPOS, said, "We are delighted to celebrate World IP Day with many around the globe. 'The Originals IP Spectacular!' is an on-going effort to reach out to the community, so that Singaporeans could continue to make good use of their Intellectual Property and make IP our way of life. This year, we are glad to appoint JJ Lin as our very own Singapore's IP Ambassador. As a role model, JJ Lin has embraced and created many IP throughout his music career, and we hope he will inspire many more Singaporeans to embrace a culture that respects and rewards creative efforts. While changing mindsets and attitudes towards IP takes time, IPOS is committed to strengthening IP public education so to engender a vibrant, creative and innovative economy in Singapore."
