Chinese indie band The Life Journey will hold its "SMILE" Concert on September 28 at Tango in Beijing. The band hopes to promote a very inspiring message with this concert. In today's world, people find themselves trapped in cramped cubicles, noisy cities, and busy lives. Rarely do we take the time to stop and smile. The Life Journey reminds us that smiling can take away any pain and cure any causes of distress. With the power of their music, they wish to make us all smile again.
To promote this concert, the band also shot a very heartwarming video. In the background, they play a very soothing but meaningful song. We are introduced to various regular Chinese folks, ranging from mechanics to lawyers. Each person introduces themselves, states their occupations, and announces their dreams and aspirations. After these short interviews, everybody, including The Life Journey, invites the viewer to smile with them. There is a genuine sincerity and tenderness in the simplicity of video. In each of their eyes, we can see the upbeat optimism that The Life Journey is looking.
