The ever-expanding MIDI festival, China's premiere outdoor rock fest, has finally invaded Linang. From May 17th to 19th, the Festival will be held at the Center of Transportations in Longgang District, Shenzhen. The event has earned the sponsorship of the local government and the Kaisa group as well as coverage from major medias from Guangzhou and Shenzhen. The festival will be a once-in-a-life time opportunity for rock fans in South China.
This year, the festival will celebrate the MIDI School of Music, which created the event over a decade ago. In 1993, the MIDI School of Music was established and quickly became recognized as the top academy of students of jazz, blues, and rock. In 2000, the School held the first ever MIDI Music Festival on campus to celebrate achievements of its students and artists from all over. Now, after 13 years, the festival has become a stage for the best rockers all over the world.
This year, the festival will celebrate the longevity and accomplishments of the MIDI School. Alumni, rockers, and fans from all over the nation are welcome to come and honor the School, while rocking out to the best rock music anywhere.
