MusicDish*China announced that it is a media sponsor of Play Rock Music Festival held in Hefei's Three Ruins Park on August 23-25. MusicDish*China has a long history of sponsoring China's leading festivals, including Midi, JZ and more recently Zebra Music Festival Shanghai.
In its third year, Play Rock Music Festival has grown into the third largest music festival in China after Midi and Strawberry festivals. Over the past two years, many well-known musicians and bands have performed on Play Rock Music Festival's stages, including as Cui Jian, Tang Dynasty, Yip Sai Wing, Sodagreen, Edison Chen, Tanya Chua, MC Hotdog, Xie Tianxiao, Alan Ko, Josie Ho, Boran Jing, Miserable Faith, Second Hand Rose Band, Escape Plan, Hao Yun. This year, the lineup promises to be even stronger.
Meanwhile, This year's Play Rock Music Festival is trying to increase the interactivity with music fans. In addition to the original Play Stone and Black Stone stages, an additional stage will be added this year called the Small Stone Stage, providing student bands and new bands an opportunity to perform. During the festival, the organizer will launch band tryouts, with the winners able to perform on the big stage.
In today's China, there is going to be more and more music festival, but very few of them will find success. Play Rock Music Festival is the only large scale music festival in Hefei at present. Meeting new friends, falling in love and enjoying a new experience is what Play Rock Music Festival is all about.
