Fennie's band Tripazia fuses many musical elements into their production, including Free-Jazz, Indie-Punk, Trip-hop, Blues, Funk, Dreaming-Pop as well as some musical elements from early France. With the subsequent addition of bassist Gary and guitarist Jeremie, new elements were added to Tripazia's sound such as Tango, Operette, Deep-Punk, and musical elements from Western China.
As the vocalist for the band Tripazia, Fennie has a distinctive singing style which brings the soul out of her music out to the listeners through what she calls "singing in dream language". Tripazia believes that Fennie's "dream language" has the ability to connect to the listener's imagination, leaving a space for creativity to flourish and evoke a dream like state with her music. One of the band's more prominent songs is "A House And A Road". With the bright and clear guitar chords, as well as Fennie's haunting vocals, the song allows you to feel like you've just walked into a beautiful impressionist painting; filled with blossoming flowers, a golden country road, and some colorful, cute houses by your side.
This is a great opportunity to meet and to listen to a talented line-up of artists' that will be involved in the benefit concert for Fennie. This event should be touted as one of the coolest things to happen in this hot summer season of Beijing. Included on the bll are...
