Lauren Ceradini Joins Capitol Music Group As Vice President Of Publicity
Ceradini will design and execute publicity plans for CMG artists and projects spanning the company's portfolio of labels

Lauren Ceradini has joined Capitol Music Group (CMG) as Vice President of Publicity, it was announced today by Ambrosia Healy, the company's Senior Vice President and Head of Media Strategy & Relations, to whom Ceradini will report. In her new position, Ceradini will draw upon her extensive experience and media relationships to design and execute publicity plans for CMG artists and projects spanning the company's portfolio of labels, including Capitol, Virgin, Motown, Harvest, Blue Note and Astralwerks. Ceradini will be based in the company's recently expanded New York offices.

Ceradini comes to Capitol after more than five years as Vice President of Publicity for Epic Records, where she ran the department, oversaw its staff and developed and led the execution of strategic media campaigns for the label's full roster of established and developing artists. Among the many successful media campaigns Ceradini was instrumental in creating and effecting were #1 albums from Sade, Michael Jackson, The Fray and Sara Bareilles, and Top 10 releases from Ciara, Fiona Apple, Shakira,The Script, Tamar Braxton and Jennifer Lopez. She was also integral to the launching of platinum new artists such as A Great Big World, Meghan Trainor and Fifth Harmony. Ceradini personally managed Epic's overall media profile, particularly that of its Chairman & CEO.

Previous to joining Epic, Ceradini held senior positions at the prestigious public relations firm Rogers & Cowan, where she played a key role in managing the publicity for The Rollings Stones' "A Bigger Bang" album and worldwide tour, as well as highly successful jaunts for Barbara Streisand, The Who and many others. She also executed media coordination, talent management and red carpet duties for myriad clients and projects, including The Grammy Awards, Fashion Rocks and the White House Correspondents Dinner.

Prior to her time at Rogers & Cowan, Ceradini was a Senior Account Executive at Articulate Communications, where she created the created the agency's first media practice, worked on various cleints' editorial programs and drove top-tier media visibility for their endeavors. Ceradini graduated with a B.A. in Communications and an emphasis in Public Relations, with honors, from the Univiersity of Maryland.
