Brand-funded music streaming service Guvera helped kick off the 2016 iMedia Brand Summit in Florida with a panel discussion and a Guvera Live performance featuring indie band Manchester Orchestra performance video here. The Florida Summit exists to support brands and marketers as they keep up with emerging opportunities and technologies.
To a 300+ audience of chief marketing officers and marketing directors Guvera's Chief Commercial Officer Americas Stephen Deane lead a conversation about using the power of music to connect fans, bands and brands. The panel includedAndy Hull and Robert McDowell from the indie band Manchester Orchestra.
Guvera Live is just one of a full suite of services and solutions that Guvera has in its stable. The brand's focus is on the natural synergy that is created between music and brands during live, intimate performances.
"You don't want to feel like you're walking into a store," Manchester Orchestra's guitarist McDowell said. "The fans can tell when that happens."
In addition to Guvera's brand-funded music streaming service, which has more than 15 million members worldwide, offers a full-service production house, House of Guvera headquartered in Downtown Los Angeles. The evening concluded with an acoustic performance by Manchester Orchestra. The band's set was live-streamed on their Facebook page, which boasts more than 300k followers. With just one post from the band three hours earlier more than 11,000 of their fans tuned in for the live stream and now, days later, the view count for the notable performance has doubled, reaching 22,000 views, has 1,100 comments, total reach of over 100k and includes 200+ shares.
