MusicDish Yaogun Adds Chinese Rock on Colectivo Bunka USB Vol. 6th Asia Music Compilation
The Special Anniversary Edition features three very different Chinese rock bands that continue to shape the scene
MusicDish Yaogun, which represents some of China's biggest rock bands, announced that songs by three of its acts are featured on Colectivo Bunka USB Vol. 6th Special Anniversary Edition. Colectivo Bunka created USB as the first international musical project that seeks to disseminate music from Asian and strengthen the cultural ties with Latin America.
The Special Anniversary Edition features three very different rock bands that continue to shape the scene:
Gemini 简迷离 - "Nothing @ All"
The electro-rock duo is signed to major Chinese music label TR Music and worked with a variety of brands from Nike, Dior, Andre Courreges, Dickens, Converse and most recently Kappa who sponsored their 2015 Psycho tour
Namo 南无 - "I Am Your King Kong"
Merging Buddhism and rock, they are the first Chinese band to play Japan's Summer Sonic in 2011, at Famen Temple, one of China's most prestigious pagoda temples, and for Mercedes Benz at the foot of Emei Mountain.
Iron Kite 铁风筝 - "Just Right"
A veteran band from China's "Golden Rock Era," their single "This Summer" has become an anthem in the Chinese rock lexicon while they've graced some of China's biggest festivals (MIDI, ZhangBei, DongHi...) as well as West Hollywood's House of Blues
For the 6th edition and commemorating its 10th anniversary, Colectivo Bunka's selected 40 guest artists who transcend between Pop, Rock, Visual Kei, Electro, Jam, and other musical genres from Spain, United States, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Singapore, China and Taiwan.Thus, Colectivo Bunka is looking to promote talent and originality from these bands and artists widely.
