The Steepwater Band - Goin Back Home-5 Song EP SWB Music
Artist: The Steepwater Band Title: Goin Back Home-5 Song EP Label:
SWB Music Lordy lordy it's the Blues! , and it's electrifying. Some amazing slide guitar licks
and a little wah-wah thrown into the mix makes for a blues party recipe that raises the roof. This
music really digs it's claws in, and it doesn't let go. The Steepwater Band features a lead singer
that sounds like a Johnny Winter, the lead guitar man Jeff Massey. Raising hell on the drum kit is
Joseph Winters (notice the last name, spooky?) and on bass is Todd Bowers keeping in time with the
skins. This is a power trio with rock and roll in their soul and blues in their blood. The group
hails from the original home of the electric blues, Chicago. They do their city proud by making a
powerful statement with a sizzling debut EP. The price is well worth the admission. Their fans will
be delighted when they give this a spin. Surely a new audience of blues-rock lovers will welcome
them as well. It's short and sweet, but the message sure comes in loud and clear. This is a
group that is going to make their presence felt in the world of blues-rock very shortly. Dig in a
grab yourself a helpin' of some rockin' blues, Chicago style. 01. Goin' Back Home 02. I
Can't Be Satisfied 03. House Is Burnin' 04. She's Nineteen Years Old 05. Dust My Broom
