Artist: Jovishes
Title: Scriptures of the King
Label: Bonafide Entertainment
305-895-2288 (bonafideentertainment@hotmail.com)

Without pain there would be no testimony, only sob stories. The "scriptures" of Jovishes are like hearing the Sunday choir sing the right song that sends a chill down your spine. It was right on time and just when you needed it.

The spirit of Jovishes has seen hurt & pain and he miraculously turns it into truth seeking justice in rhymes that he delivers to the masses. Now that his soul has been revealed to the world, Jovishes comes swingin', banging with 16 tracks of hard-hittin' music.

Scriptures of the King on Bonafide Entertainment bring the dirty and clean side of living when life keeps dealing you the short end of the stick.

Jo asks "If you don't understand me when I'm dirty how you gonna understand me when I'm clean?"

Although he falls short of being the modern day Malcom X and Nat Turner, as he proclaims, he has the makings of a man who can indeed have a strong following with a powerful message.

At times, production overshadows vocals, but the musical concoction and lyrics have such an intoxicating mixture that you really don't mind at all.

Although the single "Get Buck" has gained major notoriety on Billboard, other sure hits are "Whodahell," "Mama Said," and "4MyGatorboyz." Haters better take a nap, cause you're gonna get tired of Jovishes. He cocked and reloaded and got more verbal scriptures from whence these came.

With Jovishes' storytelling ability you'll know what it's like to be a gator in Dade County, Florida even if you were no where around with a silver spoon hanging out of your mouth.
