months of uncertainty. In our last episode, Garageband was seeking a
distribution deal crucial to the company's survival. As it turns out, that

Instead, "A group of diehard Garageband employees, music lovers, and
musicians have stepped forward to purchase Garageband, to preserve and
expand its core mission: empowering and bringing together rising musicians
and their fans," says the guys.
The GB website should be back within a month with its most important
features, including the review process, intact and maybe a few new ones. But
there's a but, and it is: some features will be discontinued for lack of

pockets, so the budget will be tight," say the crew, going on, "More than
ever, Garageband's success will depend on how well we serve your needs. And,
more than ever, we'll need your support and patience.
"We're excited to continue the evolution of Garageband. We promise to
include you in our process as we strive to remain the best place to find new
music and the best place for rising musicians to get feedback and exposure."
