The Los Angeles Black Expo and Trade Show and Black Entertainment Magazine
will host the inaugural induction ceremonies for the Hip Hop Hall of Fame
and Edutainment Centers during its West Coast Hip Hop Summit at the Los
Angeles Convention Center on September 7.
Eric "Eazy E" Wright and Latin sensation Mellow Man Ace are among those
slated for inclusion and a special Fallen Star award will go to
rapper Mossberg, tragically gunned down.
Bone Thugs -N- Harmony is scheduled to appear as well as perform for the
event, and former Ruthless Records executive Jerry Heller -also a member of
the Hall of Fame Advisory Board - is scheduled to speak.
This will be only the second time in the history of the Los Angeles Black
Expo has featured Hip Hop related events. But with the success of this
year's events may herald a permanent relationship. The Expo events draw
approximately 100,000 visitors over the three-day trade show.

American Aids Policy and Training Institute to help provide funds for
