In its campaign to protect its record label clients, the Recording Industry
Association of America (RIAA) has now zeroed in on what it describes as "two
sizable flea markets" by suing the owners and operators for copyright
"While profiting from shady vendors selling pirated music, these flea market
operators are turning a blind eye to blatant piracy," says the RIAA.
The Cole case was filed in the Southern District of Texas (Houston
Division). The Marysville case was filed in the Eastern District of
California in Sacramento.
