Expose's Greatest Dance Mixes Thump Records
Artist: Expose
Title: Expose's Greatest Dance Mixes
Label: Thump Records (www.thumprecords.com)
Genre: Dance
Possibly the best of the girl groups from 80s, Expose broke the Beatles' record for most
Top Ten hits from a debut album. Now they're showing it all off with a 70+ minute cd
worth of dance mixes, including those hit songs all of us aging fogies recall.
These 3 beautiful ladies are sensational singers when they get together (and when they
get apart, if the solo albums are anything - and they are - to go by). Ordinarily, even
without a remix album, you might consider their mega-hit catalog dance tunes or
remixes, but the new compilation from Thump Records spares no expensive drum
machine and lays on a wealth of stereo effects to bring the 80s well and truly back.
Point of No Return- Original Version
Come Go with Me -Remix
Seasons Change- 12" version
Let Me Be The One - 12" version
Exposed to Love - 12" version
What You Don't Know- Atomic Mix 12" version
Tell Me Why- White Label Club Remix
When I looked at Him - "Suave Mix"
I Specialize In Love- Remix
Mega-mix- 12" version
That mega-mix at the bottom is a 10 minute, busy prayer to the big song that starts it -
'Point of No Return.' It's a good thing the disc doesn't start with that one, since it would
be hard for the others to live up to. Then again, the 'original version' of that song shows
nothing extra is needed to fill that dance floor up. These sexy chicks have IT. And for
just a few bucks, they'll give it to you. Good.
