The above is reportedly the header on a memo sent by Thomson to employees following a letter the firm had from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
"The letter from the RIAA said that IP (internet protocol) addresses belonging to Thomson Financial had been used to access FastTrack, which, Robinson said according to the purported memo, is the P2P network hosting KaZaA, Grokster and iMesh," says Britain's The Inquirer.
According to the note, "Staff found to have accessed FastTrack have already been disciplined," The Inquirer goes on, adding:
"If employees are found to use P2P networks at the firm in the future, they could face being fired..."
The memo is at Internalmemos.com, which also spilled the beans about the Warner Bros staff warning.
