Throw Down Your Arms

The controversial Sinead O'Connor has come out of retirement to release her first studio album in three years. Throw Down Your Arms finds Sinead exploring her passion for classic reggae and interpreting songs from artists such as Peter Tosh, Burning Spear and Lee Perry - amongst others. Also included is a cover of Bob Marley's “War,” this being the notorious track that she once performed to a national TV audience before tearing up a photo of the Pope. The album was recorded in Jamaica with the legendary production team of Sly & Robbie and if you get in quick, the first 5000 copies come with a bonus full-length dub disc!
