BMG Music Publishing Promotes Jason Boyarski

Effective immediately, Jason Boyarski has been promoted to vice president, legal and business affairs, at BMG Music Publishing Worldwide, it was announced today by Peter Brodsky, senior vice president, legal and business affairs, at the company.
Boyarksi continues to report to Brodsky in his new role. Both are based in BMG's New York City headquarters.
As vice president, Boyarski continues to be responsible for negotiating and drafting co-publishing, administration, songwriter and other music publishing agreements. He will also continue to play a large role in many of the department's day-to-day matters including trademark maintenance and litigation management.
Boyarski joined BMG Music Publishing in 2002 and was most recently senior director, legal and business affairs. Prior to BMG, Boyarski was an associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP. He holds a law degree from the Cardozo School of Law in New York City.
